Do you notice that a lot of bluetooth items don't last long?

I bought bluetooth headphones and they lasted like a month or two. When they worked they were great, but they didn't last long. They were the kind that bended to flex and fit into smaller spaces and save space. I feel like those kind of headphones are too fragile. The cheaper, chorded headphones lasted way longer. I also bought earpieces which were bluetooth (no chord). These seemed to last a couple of months, but over a short period of time their quality diminished. I also believe that these are too fragile. I walk places with my backpack and set them down and pick them up. The earpieces failed shortly after I bought them. Do you have experiences with bluetooth items like headphones, earpieces, etc. and it failed way before you expected it to?

I don't buy bluetooth headphones, I'd rather use the traditional ones.

I was using a cordless headset for working from home, but they never lasted very long. I attributed it to the fact that there is already enough bluetooth here, the printer, the surround sound and so on.
