Who’s a noob now?

So when my daughter and I talk, she always uses terms I’m not familiar with. I ask what blah blah means and she explains it diligently and when I still don’t get it, she calls me a noob. I searched for the meaning of the word and yeah, I’m a noob indeed. Sigh! One time I was holding my keypad phone and was texting my mom. Suddenly she asked me if she could borrow it and so I gave it to her. She looked at it quizzically and was trying to compose a text message herself. But after a few tries, she gave up and asked me how to use it. Haha Who’s a noob now? Do you still have a keypad phone? (From Wiktionary: Noob (Internet slang) A newb or newbie; refers to the idea that someone is new to a game, concept, or idea; implying a lack of experience.

Yes I still have a keypad phone but I seldom use it now. I just keep it active for one of my sim cards. Hihi I am still a newbie to some things but maybe not a noob hihi They said those two are different? Not sure...

In my time a newb meant someone who was new to doing something (like a newbie). My kids tell me a noob is someone stupid (that's how they use that word these days ). I tell them they're wrong and they tell me I'm wrong . . . I hate generational slang .
