The screen is fuzzy.....what the????

I have written a lot about Petey. He is a strong character and shows it in his kitty self. He doesn't take any guff off anyone including me. So of course he dominates my discussions. There is another member of the trio. It's a fair damsel that I learned about in the past 5 months. She is a beautiful long haired calico that I discovered through some gentle prodding was badly abused. There was damage to her spine and hips so she cannot jump up on furniture like other cats. Someone must have really kicked the daylights out of her before they threw her in a box and dumped her out where I used to live. It has taken years to get her to trust humans again...but the patience has paid off. She is now a continual side kick and sleeps at my head during the night, and I wake to a soft purring of a contented lady. What does this have to do with a fuzzy screen? Well I discovered this morning that my little lady has a sense of humor. All these past months she has been watching me switch between reading and distance glasses. (Sorry, bi-focals don't work for me, I tried to get fitted for them and barfed all over the doctor. I have problems with the motion between the lenses. It's instant barf city for me.) I couldn't figure where the glasses I set down would go. If I switched the ones I set down disappeared and I would find them under the covers. This morning I found out. This delightful little shy lady has a sense of humor. She will be laying beside me and quietly reach over and grab the unused glasses and hide them from me. I will be sitting here wondering "WHY" I can't see and she is purring like crazy and nudging me for attention. Bill had named her "Jonesy" but I'm beginning to believe that her name should be "My Shy Violet with a Twist". Vi for short. (She just snatched another pair of glasses......the chase is on....and so are the hugs!

Cats are funny. Mickey will come up and bat me on the nose, to get petted.

"Vi" also will grab my left knee with her paws/claws. I noticed last night that my knee looked like a dart board and couldn't figure it out until..."Vi" wanted in my lap and out came those built in body openers! I had a Siamese that would come up, climb up on the top of my head and peer down into my eyes. It was fun getting him down into my lap!

Wow what a strong reaction you had to getting fitted for bi-focals. So embarrassing for you and horribly disgusting for him . That’s funny she likes to hide your glasses. My husbands dog used to steal things like she would go across the street and take gloves and toys and things from outside the neighbors house. My husband was to embarrassed to tell the neighbor so when he was gone my husband would run over and leave the stuff there.

This is the first time I heard cat steals glasses. Then again there klepto cats that steal more weird stuff. Guess she's trying to gain more of your attention.
