Such a lovely baby! My eldest son is already 25 years old and the youngest is 21. So it's been a long time since I gave birth. Well, if my son would get married one of these days, then I could probably have a chance to take care of my grand children.

Your baby daughter is beautiful, she was a big baby. I have no children, my younger brother was 4.7 kg when he was born. He has been BIG during all his life.

Glad that you able to give birth normally.Your baby is cute. Mine is not a pleasant story.I gave birth by cesarean delivery.I had my labour pain till 13 or 14 hours. Then I tried to give normal delivery,My birth canal opened 7 cm.My baby's head was down.At the time doctor said "My baby's heart beat rate decreased".I was scared.I had so much pain. But at the nick of time I agreed to go to c section. Finally My baby born by c section last year. His weight was 3.2 kg.

Congratulations to you on the birth of your baby. Yes, contractions can be very painful indeed. I hope you and your daughter are well. I have had home births with my children. I have two midwifes present at my house for the birth of my disabled son. My labor was just two and a half hours. My birthing pool was filling up and I said I can feel my baby to the midwives. After a few contractions he was born. I thought that was such an easy birth. I didn't bother with my birthing pool as I expected with my daughter I would have another easy labor. No, it was a painful 7 hour long labor with me losing two and a half liters of blood. I was so ill after she was born. I got taken off to the hospital with my baby girl. Now she is 11 and he is 13.

@ckciasigurl Yes, a birth pool is so cool. Laboring in water can be more relaxing and less painful. My son is in a wheelchair and he has a poorly back now. His spina bifida did this to him.

I've never been pregnant, and at my age and current health status, I doubt I ever will. However, it's still good you had a rather uneventful birth and your daughter seems healthy.
