This Ube Cheese Pandesal became very popular this year and this one is from my favorite store.
Today, the delivery was two hours delayed from the promised time frame. I was taught not to be mad at someone who makes your food, one real reason is that you'll never know if they could sabotage your food if you treat them bad so I didn't complain from the seller.
Somehow my voice from the delivery guy was monotone (than my usual perky voice when receiving deliveries) because I was questioning about the delay. He said sorry, there were a lot of deliveries, and I said it's okay.
I sent a message to seller to let her know that it arrived late and she apologized, told me the rider had some trouble with his motorcycle during the delivery.
I gave the benefit of the doubt. I actually salute delivery men for the convenience they bring to people, especially here where the weather is typically hot.
I'm sure he has a good reason about the delay. If it's true that he just didn't tell me the real problem, I'm somehow relieved that I wasn't rude to him due to disappointment because I would feel bad to be the reason for making someone's day worse than it already was.

@ckciasigurl I understand how you felt about your cravings during those times.

The riders/delivery personnel work hard. While there are those who are not good at their job, most of them try their best. I am glad to hear that you did not give the driver a hard time, I know a hungry and angry customer is not a good combination.
That ube cheese pandesal looks so good! I once made it, it was amazing but I have to admit it was very labor intensive.

@jdbces I did. I already know how to make a regular pandesal. My cousin is the one who suggested to try ube cheese pandesal, so I went on YouTube for the recipe. It was really good. I posted it on facebook to brag that my baking game is still good, and I received messages for orders. If only I have the tie and patience, then I will probably start selling this.

@hereandthere Sorry, not exactly in MM. Maybe you're right about the 13th one.

Good that you were polite despite of your disappointment. That's something new for me. I guess it's a sweet dish.

I was really trying to understand and he was also nice and apologetic.
We have our typical pandesal which isa bit salty (I attached a photo). This one I had today is flavored with cheese and the sweet Ube (one of our local sweets). The crumbs they use are crushed Grahams so it gives a good aroma when baked.
