It was dreary and rainy yesterday. Then the wind started up. And about a quarter to three... no one in the place 'cept me... it got really fierce and the power went out. And stayed out allll niiight longggg. When I woke up this morning, it was still out and the thermostat read 56°F (I can't figure out how to switch it to Celsius) which is about 13°C. So I made some tea using a tealight thingie and went back to bed to keep warm and to read... lots of light coming in the window behind my bed.

Yikes, that is a long power outage. I am glad you had a way to make tea.

I'm glad, too. I just wish I had a gas stove.

Rainy season with 13 Celsius Wow! We hardly reach 16 Celsius in winter. And to be frank with you, 16 Celsius is too much for me.
