hi friends! my husband just got home today and he told me he will be away for 2 days this week and december 10 he will be away for 6 months for a mission. we have our baby she is 2 months old were living in a small province here in Tuscany , i don't have friends since i just move here last march my parents and inlaws they are 520km away. im a first time mother . and we're in total lockdown... we can still survive without going out because we have stocks but on december if he will be away for 6 months me and my baby we need to go to grocery and do everything, sometimes my baby she always wants to be with me if i will put her down she will be awake. being a military wife is so hard

What a shame that your husband has to be away for 6 months. That's a long time for you, but the baby will be okay. I'd order groceries online or shop with the baby in a carriage or stroller. The fresh air will be good for you both.

im still trying to figure out groceries online because my husband´s colleague tried to order online because he can´t go out because he has covid he told us it arrived after a week because the courier will bring it not there own people. for the stroller, I would love to use it but we have stairs and we don't have an elevator the main door and stairs is to narrow so, for now, were using a carrier especially if I go out alone if I'm with my husband we use the stroller because we can carry it if im alone i can´t once she can already carry her neck then i can just pull the stroller backward.

I must be challenging to have a husband in the military. Your baby is only two months old so he will miss seeing most of the first year of her life. Try to put her in a pram or pushchair and take a walk to the supermarket or get on-line deliveries.

yes it's very hard a lot of sacrifices. he has some off like 2 days so he can come home every 2 weeks hoping we can be together this holidays and for our anniversary and birthday for now i prefer using baby carrier hoping lock down will finish soon

There is no one for you to talk to? I'm glad you have food and supplies. I hope you and your little one will be okay.

Oh I see. It will be a tough time for you then. Figure some way out to send someone do the grocery in your place.
