In 1960 Patsy Cline recorded her hit song "I Fall To Pieces" and it rose up to number one on the country music charts the following year. In 1963 Nino Tempo and April Stevens has a number one hit with "Deep Purple." In 1968 The Jimi Hendrix Experience third and final studio album Electric LadyLand rose to number one on the U.S. album chart. In 1974 John Lennon had a number one hit with "Whatever Gets You Through the Night." Elton John made a deal with Lennon that if his song got to the number one spot he would appear with Elton John live onstage. Lennon kept his word and he and Elton John appeared together singing three songs Lennon's number one hit, "I Saw Her Standing There" and "Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds." In 1985 Feargal Sharkey came out with his only U.K. number one single "A Good Heart." In 1985 Starship hit the number one spot on the U.S. singles chart with "We Built This City." In 1996 The Beatles Anthology rose up to number one on the U.K. album chart. In 2006 the Greatest Hits album for Queen became the Best Selling U.K. album of all time as declared by the Official U.K. Charts Company. In 2010 The Beatles back catalogue became available on iTunes.
