Do you use an electric blanket?

I wish I had one for tomorrow night when it is going down to somewhere below 30 degrees F. I have two actually, but they seem to have outlived their usefulness. I plan on looking for one tomorrow as I have to head into the city...tomorrow for a project. Electric blankets are really cozy when the temp is low.

@JudyEv Yes, they can really warm a bed up too. I have a lot of windows in my room, which I love but it can also get a bit cold in there sometimes.

@snowy22315 They're great to crawl onto on a cold night, that's for sure.

@snowy22315 Not yet too cold for an electric blanket. Anyway, we have a heater and that is enough for me.

@snowy22315 It sounds perfect, but I'm wondering if the current can shake me.

I fancy getting an electric blanket. It gets very cold in England during the winter time. I went to visit my aunty and she let me use one of her electric blankets. I have happy memories thinking back to that time. I used to take a hot water bottle to bed. That isn't as good as an electric blanket. I think cushions you can microwave heat are really cold moments later. The heat doesn't last for long.

@snowy22315 I am not against them. I'm just hoping that I don't need to get one.

If you put them on a low temp that doesn't usually happen.

I used to own an electric blanket. If it gets too cold, two warm blankets are used.

When I moved in here there were 4 brand new ones in the original plastic. They were old though and I was worried about them causing fire so I got rid of them. Kind of kicking myself forever after that. I could have used them just while awake.
