In England there used to be a supermarket compare prices website. I could type the name of the product and then see if any of the supermarkets had a deal. At the moment I noticed one supermarket is selling an item for 1 pound and others are selling it for 1 pound and 55 pence. Now it takes more time to go onto each supermarkets website.
That is talking about supermarkets. Low cost cost shops are wonderful to combine with going to a supermarket. You can get low cost things like cereal, tins of food and dog treats. I like to buy meat for my dogs at a shop that has many freezers and fridges.
I suggest try to make savings on the food and drink that you buy.

Rain Drain I felt upset when the supermarket compare prices website ended. I am glad I bought nine of one item so I won't have to face 1.55 pounds for a while. I will look at my budget again because the bills I have are high at this time of the month.

That would be awesome..I don't know if we have such a thing..but one app I like is Flipp which has circulars for many different stores, both supermarkets and others. You can compare prices some on that.

Hello Anna. It is wonderful 5 supermarkets are in the area you live in. The most expensive supermarket is close to my children's school. A sort distance away is a cheap supermarket with less choice of foods. It is lovely that you know two at are less expensive.

I no longer see site like that here. Now days, I am trying my best to find the best deals. I don't shop in one places alone. Fresh food are mostly from the wet market. Vegetables like celery is cheaper in the supermarket. Dry food, is possible, from the wholesale store. The wholesale store in my area only sell dry food, but at a very cheap price.
I guess some people won't have the patience to shop with me

I'm going into low cost stores these days, price rite is one, with peas 50 cents a can! And Tropicana orange juice about 3.00! I save at least half when I go there. I'm slashing my food budget. Do you have Tropicana orange juice in the UK?
