So, I figured anytime after November 15 people would start putting out Christmas decorations. On the way back today I noticed a yard with a giant inflatable snowman, and an inflatable Christmas tree. Then once I got to my neighborhood I saw a tree with it's lights in the window. I also saw two lit up bushes. Well, To me it is too early, but they have been running Christmas movies on Lifetime since Nov. 1, so it isn't really surprising to be honest. Are they decorating for Christmas in your area?

Yes, I have decided to decorate a lot this year. We deserve it after the year we have had.

@CarolDM I celebrate the fall so I don't care if Halloween is early. Christmas though...I dunno, it seems kind of cheap to celebrate it early, unless you are one of the people who have a tree up all year. Some people are really Christmas nuts, or they leave their tree up to help them embody the spirit all year.

Here decorations go up during the months of November, as well as December.
Our Thanksgiving is the second Monday of October, so we have that behind us.
I began to get the decorations out this week, after Remembrance Day.
Years ago we never put our decorations up until the start of Advent, these days it seems like everyone wants to extend the season and start it sooner.

I saw some Christmas decorations at a strip mall the first week of November when it was like 70 plus degrees. I was wondering if I was in Fla..

@snowy22315 Up until a week ago we had such weather, but now that it is colder and we had a dusting of snow it feels more like Christmas and time to start to decorate.

@snowy22315 I was a bit late already. I used to put them all up when September comes.

We do need cheer this year. The cheerier the better! How is Leah? Not so good I guess.

@snowy22315 We all wait for next Tuesday afternoon. The Vet will release her then. I wish I had a better way to say it.

Yes, they are decorating here, but NO I am not yet. If I remember where my wreaths and swags are I will start with that.

I saw a cute little tree today at Kroger..live trees for 20 bucks..the cats would go absolutely nuts. It will be hard enough to keep him away from an artificial tree.

I used to be bullish on Christmas, but not so much in recent years.
