It's been raining in Northern California! How's the weather where you are?

After literally months of no rain, we've had three days with at least some rain in the San Francisco Bay Area. Kitty sees it as a chance to take a nap (what she does best). I think of it a chance to plant my snow peas for the Winter.
How is the weather where you are? What are you planting right now?

I don't exactly have a green thumb, so I'm not planting anything. Unless my butt in my chair while I work, counts. We've had cool, overcast skies here, but no real rain. So far. THe clouds are keeping it from getting too hot.

I need to finish digging up weeds but I'm not going to get that done this year.
It was cold yesterday but sunny while today was overcast but 61. Not normal for us late November.

We are having mild, unseasonable weather. I MAY go plant some pilfered echinacea seeds, of a yellow variety. You really should plant them in October. I see some mullein coming up in places, including flower pots and I may transplant it to a patch in the back part of my yard.

I'm glad that you finally received some rain after so long. It's sweltering where I am but nowhere near as hot as it could get at this time of the year, thankfully!

We're still waiting for it to warm up and become summer. Hopefully any day now.

The weather in Lake Charles is warm and cloudy during the daytime hours while it is a little bit cold during the evening hours.

Cute picture. I'm glad the west coast is getting some rain to help the firefighters out. Weather turned warm today. In the high 60s with sunshine. Perfect. No planting going on here. Have a great day.

Here in Middle Earth, it's cold and wet. Pretty standard for an English autumn/winter. I'm sure it's been colder than normal, though.
Sadly, I can't plant anything. Most things I try to grow tend to die anyway! Apart from that, our garden is unsuitable for growing anything but weeds. My husband has some chilli pepper seeds, that I bought him last Christmas, which he never got around to planting. I think they would grow indoors. We might wait until we move (which won't be for another few years) before we start with a worthwhile garden. I want one like my dad used to have. The garden was huge - one half was a play area for me and my sisters, and the other half was full of various vegetables that my dad would grow.

That is a good news. Rains would help control the forest fires, and also reduce pollution.

Well I'm jealous
We could use some of that wet stuff here too.
I haven't planned to plant anything this year but I'm going to try to clean up the areas where I'll want to plant things next year.

in my country it has been the rainy season since August, and the plants here are starting to grow fertile
