It's Easy for Us to Lose Sight...

of the scale of things. Most people are stuck in the mindset that what we see today has always been and always will be. We may consciously say "Well, of course, that's not true" but when discussing topics like politics, economics, etc. That is the mindset we find ourselves trapped in. Remember: On the grand scale of humanity's history, the US has existed for, like, 30 seconds, if even that. You have existed for a fraction of a second. What you see now is not static. One day, the Earth will cease to exist. The Sun will exhaust its fuel and the Earth will die. Humans will go extinct one day. Whether by purposeful design or at the cost of countless other events. I say this not to seem nihilistic, but to free us from the prison-like mindset we are in where we resist change.

this is the same as what I learned in physics, we term it "Entropy" the longer the universe will become chaotic, the sun will lose its nuclear fuel to shine and everything will go to nothing and the earth will disappear, and this continues to happen every day even on ourselves, the entropy will become large over time, change is something that is unbearable

Exactly. Most people don't understand this concept. Even if we evolve and move to other planets, we will lose what makes us human. So, humanity is doomed no matter what on a long enough time scale.
