I read that--after Apple TV+ got exclusive rights to the specials ("A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" & "A Charlie Brown Christmas")--hundreds-of-thousands signed petitions to get the specials back to broadcast-TV https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/apple-reaches-deal-to-air-charlie-brown-special-on-pbs/ar-BB1baKoD I'm not seeing the importance of 'having Charlie Brown on broadcast-TV rather than on a streaming-service (just like I hear Conan O'Brien's doing---quitting television to star in a podcast).'

I'm glad I saw this discussion because I was disappointed it wasn't going to be on network tv.. it's annoying needing to have all these different streaming services and Charlie Brown has been such an original tv classic for years I think that's why some were so upset.

I know ... I guess that's what I miss about 'regular television'---where you 'bought a subscription' by OWNING THE MACHINE
