Dreams!

It's been awhile since I've talked about dreams here, hasn't it? Well last night's wasn't very fun. I can't recall all of them (I believe I had two), but I remember enough of one to say "That's Enough of That!" Glad I woke up before it got even more crazy than it already was. In the dream I was trying to get away from an ex bf who wanted to get back together. I ended up in a van driven by another ex's father with three young women as passengers. The young women were all doing some sort of drug and insisted I do it too. The drug made me feel very loopy as if I was drunk, but it wore off quickly because I didn't take all of it. Then we got stopped by the cops and I still had some of the drug on me! The cops let me go though because the drug was still classified as under the legal limit you can carry. We got back in the van and the ex's father felt the need to drive over a median and into other traffic to get to an exit just to get away from people. It was all very odd, scary and I was glad once the dream was over

@Courtlynn I'm guessing it's a product of stress.

Yes it was. There was a lot more to it than that too, it just got stranger.

That was a weird movie, I cannot remember anymore my dreams, I do as soon as I get up but they vanish with the first lights of the day.

That is how it's been for me lately. I remember them only for a few minutes with the exception of the past two nights when i seem to remember more.

@LadyDuck I read years ago that the key to remembering our dreams is to train ourselves to wake up slowly. Then the first thing on our minds should be something from the dream. Anything you can grasp onto and then go from there.

@ScribbledAdNauseum When I wake up I try to memorize my dreams and I tell to myself that I am surely going to remember, but NO!

I had a dream a few nights ago that I was staying with a black family. I was laying on their couch. I was going to school, I think. I had written a story that was sorta based on the black family and they saw my notebook and was telling me to get out their house. Then I woke up. I think I had the dream because a black woman has moved into our trailer park.

Ah, what an odd dream. Our neighborhood is pretty diverse, but it wasn't always like that.

I hate dreams like that. I had another one last night in which I was in school. I was going to be late to class; and I couldn't clean up the mess that the prior person had made in my room. Inspecting the room was part of the class; and I was freaking out.

Most of my dreams seem that way. It was really odd too. We went to get some shirts from a dollar store but the dollar store was closed. There was a dispensing machine outside of it that we were supposed to use instead.

You had quite an adventure in your dream! It's like watching a movie but starring you.

I am very glad it was only a dream! The dreams that seem so real are horrible! Why can't I dream that I'm on a beautiful beach and have it feel real?

@ScribbledAdNauseum it's always the bad dream that feels so real, never the good ones
