If you keep living looking back at your past...

It dawns on me that people who kept looking back to their past never reach their destination. They looked back wanting to change their past while losing their chances in the present. I'm giving you an advice that I've also applied to myself, Let it go, don't waste your time today by spending it for the past mistakes you made. Past and Present has its own allotted time, live according to its given time.

I agree for the most part. It's one thing to dwell on the past, wishing you could do things differently than it is to learn from the past and apply what you've learned to current or future situations. I believe in the saying, 'those who fail to learn from the past, are doomed to repeat it. I would rather learn from past mistakes then pretend the past didn't happen. However, I don't want to change my past, because without it.... I wouldn't be who I am, today.
