An Outing

Yesterday was our 45th wedding anniversary. In the weeks before me made plans to go away for the weekend. The Covid 19 numbers for our province were at 0 so we decided that maybe, just maybe we would go for an overnight outing. Alas.....it was not to be. Our provincial numbers rose quickly and we were suddenly in an "orange" zone. Small gatherings....masks at any place public...parks, sidewalks, trails....no travel outside your zone....... A change in plans. We did go to a restaurant for breakfast, but packed a picnic lunch and went for a long walk on the beach. The weather was glorious, the day was pleasant and hubby and I do enjoy each other's company so it was a good day. Just not what we had planned. One thing we have learned in 2020. Don't make any concrete plans. When an opportunity presents itself, don't agonize, just jump in and go with the flow. Phot is me holding our travel buddy Sebastian on the beach.

If we make the most of whatever's happening, then we can enjoy our time better. A very happy anniversary to you both.

Happy Anniversary, and many more to you both. We have had to make quick plans thru this year due to covid, both for the positive as well as for the negative, some goings and some cancelling. Covid has taught me patience.

Happy 45th wedding anniversary. It is so sensible that you are able to think not to be upset you can't go on your overnight celebration. I agree that it is best not to make any concrete ideas in 2020. A beach is a lovely place to visit to feel happy and relaxed. We got 450 pounds of travel vouchers so I was able to get that back for the missed Easter 2020 trip. It is a week on the Sussex coastline. The caravan is wheelchair accessible and will allow my two dogs. I wish to give my two children and two dogs a lovely time. If if can't go ahead then I will be able to book something else.

At least there was a restaurant and beach to enjoy with each other. Our restaurants are closed again in Michigan for the weeks of not more. Happy anniversary.

It was still a great day as you were able to eat at the restaurant, had picnic, and walk on the beach. This is a nice photo. Happy Anniversary to you and your husband.
