More 'Out-Loud Hypocrisy' from the Christian Church - Saying 'Be Not Conformed,' but Conforming Like Nobody's Business!

A recent "Believer's Voice of Victory"-magazine features an article entitled "TRANSFORMED, Not Conformed!" about how--though a buncha pastors give "PC PR"-answers to questions, implying that Jesus was all about being "tolerant"--He was actually more about 'calling-out sin' and steering people back to the right path. http://magazine.kcm.org/i/1305748-dec-20/7?m4= That's true; but it's not what the publishers' church (Kenneth Copeland Ministries) DOES! Maybe I'm 'splitting hairs' there, but I just thought it was interesting that 'Conform' is one of the meanings of "the one Bible-word that can change your whole life ... that will get you out of trouble" that another KCM-minister writes about IN THE SAME MAGAZINE---the Bible-word "Hearken." And of-course KCM is not to blame for the hypocrisy---they might not have gotten as far as they've gotten (churches & conferences & broadcasts all over the world) if they HADN'T 'conformed' to quite a few things (the laws of the various lands, the cornerstone-principles of the church, etc.). And I guess we can only fight against a few 'big conformities' at a time, and the one that they choose to fight is 'the idea that Christian Ministry requires a vow of Poverty.' Oh, nevermind 'what Jesus said about not praying outside your private room' or how He never specifically mentioned an afterlife (go ahead and check me on that one ... I'm really not sure); no, "The Prosperity Gospel" is 'the hill they're dying-on.' But back to The Point I Started on: the writer of "TRANSFORMED, Not Conformed!" said that 'bad churches' are "Come as you are, and stay that way;" while righteous churches are "Come as you are, and change to be more like 'the image of Jesus' (the way WE think it is)." That's where the church/ministry gets 'a little corrupt.' The truth I'm getting-to is that you can always CHOOSE to conform or not to conform. True, sometimes 'not conforming' means 'being crushed by the crowd of those who DO conform' (when it's smart to conform in deed if not -in thought).

It can't be helped, hypocrisy comes from the side of us as humans, the only perfect one is God

Too bad 'the church' thinks they know what/who that is
