I watched Lord of War yesterday. I taped it when it was on The Movie Channel. It has Nicolas Cage (love him), Bridget Moynahan, Jared Leto, Shake Tukhmanyan, Jean-Pierre Nshanian, and Ethan Hawke in it. Big Warning: there is lots of violence and some very sad parts. In this movie, a man named Yuri Orlov (not a real person, but inspired by five other men) decides to get into the arms business. Once he gets into the business, he discovers that he can make more money selling guns during war time. So he does and he marries the woman of his dreams. They have a son together. But his business comes with a price which he loses his wife and son. His parents disown him. His uncle is killed and his brother is also killed. I can't really like this movie. It is too sad and if Yuri was a real person, he had no heart. If I had been him, I would have stopped when the bomb killed the uncle. That bomb was actually meant for him. And when his brother tried to tell him what he was doing was wrong and then killed himself, he still didn't stop. He says in the movie, it wasn't the money, he just knows he is good at it. Next week I'm watching The Weather Man.
