Are you still running an anti-virus?

Anti-Virus is very important to catch viruses that enter your computer, but it consumes a lot of your computer resources. Every time it updates it'll consume your computer ram that makes it slower. If you're running a high-end computer there'll be no problem but if you're running an old computer then running an anti-virus is kinda challenging because you'll experience a lot of slowdowns

I have not used an antivirus since about 20 years, when I switched to Linux. My smartphone is an Android, so it is also Linux based, and a virus cannot harm a lot a Linux computer as long as it is not rooted. I have a Windows 10 tablet, but I have only installed a firewall on it, which is probably enough and does not slow it.

I think I have an anti virus in my computer but I'm not sure if they're really protecting my computer. Maybe.
