Religion = Preparing You to Die?

I'm continuing to watch Leah Remini's "SCIENTOLOGY and the Aftermath" on NETFLIX, and I'm seeing more complaining about how 'Scientology' (its leaders, NEVER ol` Uncle L. Ron's zany wisdom!) almost killed all these people & caused many other deaths besides ...
But then I read something that either Leah left out or she forgot (probably due to the fact that it got buried under years-&-years of training and processing and awareness characteristics-ing (the three columns on "The Bridge to Total Freedom" ... Scientology's version of 'the sacraments') ...
It was a quote from Scientology's founder (L. Ron H.), who said ... I forget exactly what it was, but it was something-like 'Scientologists don't really feel anything about death ... believing that their "Thetan" (spirit, soul, whatever) will just pass to another random human).'
That reminded me of the age-old confusion---"If you go to Heaven when you die, why not just kill yourself the moment you decide (in your fully-reasoning-aged mind) to become a Christian?"
My answer for Christians would be 'Because Heaven is more like "the world you're building for 'your future self' (or maybe 'your children-etc.') on Earth." True, you don't GO TO Heaven; more like "Heaven is a future-Earth you'll be brought back to (like Frankenstein's monster)"'
But Leah wants Scientology to get us there WITHOUT killing us (or without 'letting us die.') Is that so wrooo-ong? https://www.aetv.com/shows/leah-remini-scientology-and-the-aftermath
