It’s Still Thanksgiving Eve On My End…

...At least for a little while, and I’m still working, but that’s okay. I went for a walk and took a nap, so I’m fine with being awake and working right now. Besides, I’m planning to take Thursday through Sunday off, unless I’m bored, so I’ll be able to catch up on my rest and offline stuff and whatnot. I’ll be online over the weekend to create my work schedule for next week, but that’s not a big deal.
Once I submit this, I’m going to proofread and submit my 1,200-word Fiverr, and the rest should be smooth sailing. I have a few orders I want to do on Textbroker, but my wallet will thank me later. I also have a few short orders for a client on Fiverr, which I also plan to finish and submit tonight.
As for tomorrow, I’m well aware that the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (which is still on, but without a crowd, and I don’t care) is early, but I’m not getting up until it actually starts, and I can always doze off during and after it (as I always do). With not working or going anywhere tomorrow, I’ll be able to rest off the late work night.
We never go anywhere on Thanksgiving. It’s a holiday we celebrate at home with one another, and we stopped going to stores on Thanksgiving (other than the grocery store for a forgotten ingredient) a few years ago. I’ll watch the parade, tune into “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” if it’s still free on Apple TV (I forgot to tune in on regular TV this past Sunday), eat with the family, rest for a bit and then watch A Muppet Christmas Carol. I’m hoping I have enough energy later in the evening to make Christmas cookies, but if not, there’s always Friday or Saturday. I wasn’t able to pick up another 1 or 2 packs but it’s fine. We have other goodies, plus I can get more if I go out over the weekend or next week, it’s not a big deal.
Alrighty, I’m going to wrap this up so I can get back to work. I don’t mind staying up but I would like to sleep at some point lol. I’ll be back at some point, I think, so take care, everyone.

You're welcome. Thanks, I did just that. Now Christmas I've decided on Taco Bell Chalupa Box, only $5 and comes with a drink. Everything else just too expensive.

I will do my best to enjoy Thanksgiving tomorrow since despite Lake Charles getting hit by Hurricanes Laura and Delta, my relatives and myself are alive and well.

Well I hope you were able to get all your work done & get a good nights sleep. I'm going to my sister's for thanksgiving to celebrate with the family. Were keeping it small just us girls, sister's husband my dad and all the kids. It will still be fun and lots of yummy food also.

Thanks! I stayed up until 3am, and got up probably close to 9am, but took a nap probably around 1pm lol. I hope you enjoyed Thanksgiving! It was decent for us; usually laid back, and there are eight of us who live together, so we just celebrate within our household.

@Blondie2222 Yeah, and that's just those of us who live here lol. But we always only celebrate Thanksgiving within the household, at least most of the time. I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving, and you're welcome. :)

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
I'm going to try to be awake for the parade, but there's been like 2 years at least that I've missed it.
