Some words I can easily say without thinking about them. Could it be that thinking about them is what makes them difficult? However if I just blurt a word out it may not sound the same way coming out of my mouth as it might sound in my head.
Take the word recycleable. Easy to write.
I would much rather say, "for the future well being, a paper cup can be recycled."
But if I must say the word then it is re-psychic-a-bull.
"ard to say isinit?"

Sometimes words just stumble out of my mouth and I have to laugh. When I mess up a word I usually put the emphasis on the beginning.
I also find that my Southern Accent comes out strong when I mess a word up.

Medical and legal words I can't even begin to fathom. Even simple things like wifi I messed up until someone corrected me. Up to that time people just smiled and I thought they liked my company. Instead of saying Y fi I was saying wiff-e .

I stumble over a word once in a while, then roll my eyes and say it correctly the second time. If I'm afraid I can't say it correctly, I don't use the word.

I have gotten used to a couple of words expanding my vocabular while reading and feel comfortable with them until I say them and discover they are not pronounced that way. I like now that we can hear the words online as well as check correct spelling.

You realize there is a reason for that, right?

Ah language--learning one's native speech is hard enough without having to learn another's!!
