A Frosty Morning

It's a very chilly start of the day today at 4:30am F. The cars in the parking lot have a light layer of frost on their windshields. I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere this morning. I can stay inside where it's warm. I'm curled up in my recliner right now with a cup of coffee and mylotting. Daisy is snuggled down in her bed under her blanket. I want to start a fire to get the chill out but it's supposed to be around 60 today so I will wait for cooler weather. I have some chores I need to do around the house today. I also need to get back in the right state of mind so I can go back to making bracelets. I need to find stuff to do to fill these empty hours with. It's hard to do because I'm not wanting to do anything but watch movies and series on Netflix. That keeps me from thinking a lot. I'm really surprised where the above paragraph went. I didn't start out with the intentions of writing that. But it is how I feel at the moment. I've been a little depressed lately. Anyway, I slept all night in my recliner. I was watching Netflix and the next thing I knew it was 4:00am and Daisy was whining for me to get up. I've been watching the Vampire Diaries. I watched it when it was on tv so it has been a while. After this series, I think I'm going to watch The Originals. So how are all of you filling your days? Are your days back to the way they were before the pandemic or close to it? **Photo is from Pixabay**

I am not one to watch alot of television. I do love to turn the tv on and bring up youtube and listen to some music. I can read with the music on for hours, I totally lose track of time when that happens. But there is not alot to do during these times and it brings us some happiness to see a series thru. So why not, this has been such a difficult year, and there is more to come. I am trying to come up with a menu for Christmas Day. it is only my hubby and I on that day. It can be difficult to cook for just 2.

I might end up doing that too - sleeping in my recliner. My new one is very comfortable. I put it completely back yesterday and was out like a light for quite a while. It will be a chilly one here too. I hope you get the stuff you need to make bracelets. I've started watching Vampire Diaries. I've also watched The Originals.

It is not easy to fill out the hours when you are in grief, I hope that you will be able to do your bracelets again and enjoy doing them. I don't watch to many movies, I prefer to watch documentaries. I read and also work on my computer to fill out the daily hours, I wish I could do crafts but can't because of my arthritis. I miss crocheting and knitting. I practice piano a bit

Our days are much the same as they've ever been. I hope you're able to get back to your craft work soon.

Good to hear from you. Movies are often a good way to keep your mind occupied. No much has changed here. Take care.

Hello there ! Its a bit cold here in the Philippines too. I guess christmas weather is what we are feeling now. I have read you are making bracelets? Is it a hobby for you or it is also some source of extra income for you? Done with my laundry now and just resting and reading topics on myLot.

The pandemic hasn't changed my life any more than having to wear masks. I've always hung around the house more and gone shopping for groceries once a month. I've always talked to friends mostly by phone and would visit once in a while. I have to say, I don't really like masks but I will wear them.

I hope you can find something to occupy your time, something to get you away from being depressed. I do jigsaws and puzzles online, brainteasers on paper, sudoku etc. I also write poems, so I'm never bored.

It's fairly warm at my house, considering it's going on December. Some grass is still growing! For sure below freezing nights but above freezing day time- most late Novembers it would not be so toasty during the day.

@simone10 I love recliners. I do not have one, but, my grandfather had one and let me sit it in. Just do what you need to do and take care of yourself and Daisy. I was Vampiries Diary. I also saw that and liked both very much. Enjoy them.
