Kofi loves to sleep on my lap and she loves to knead. It's painful most of them time, she uses her claws too I have to stop her multiple times before she curl, purring and happy. I have to type from far too, to accommodate for her size. They said cats do that for comfort and because they're happy. So the unhappy one is me? Does your cat knead too?

When I owned a cat she liked to scratch even though she had no front claws. Seems they have a natural urge to scratch. Sometimes they are happy or excited to see you. Or just to remove material from their claws. Your kitty must be a real "lap" cat

Nah, I won't declaw her. She tend to venture to the woods to hunt. She eat her cat food, yet she still hunt. That's why she's fat. But I wouldn't say that to her face!

@prinzcy No best be careful with your kitty. A cat with claws and who likes to hunt is not to be messed with..

Wah, on the head must feel nice. It feel good to be massage. So the claws must be to add.pressure. Hopefully they don't use claws on your head too.

@prinzcy I'm ashamed to say he was declawed.

That happens here as well. I have to stop the kneading as his claws are quite sharp. I can not trim them...but this guy is on the hyper side.

This is too. She's the best hunter among my cats so she use the claws a lot.

We do not have a cat, but I have heard that they are most happy when they are kneading.

They're happy and they're purring. If only I can find a way to tell her not to use the claws on me.
