Hello, It’s now Sunday evening and I will be making some dinner here shortly but thought I would stop in and say hello. I had ordered my groceries from Wal-mart for the second time and this time it didn’t go well at all. I did everything like I did last time and then I showed up and they were a bit busy. I pulled up and was waiting a while and then finally someone came to the car asked what the order name was. I gave the name and she said it would be a little while. All said and done I waited 45 minutes for them to bring me the order. For that long I could have just went in the store and bought the stuff myself. I already sent an email to them complaining about the wait time and that it was unacceptable that someone would have to wait that long for them to bring the order out to me. They had sent me a text telling me it was ready for pick up so how could I wait that long? Needless to say I was not happy about it at all.

That's one of the main reasons why I prefer in-store shopping. I know what I'm getting and don't have to rely on others to get it for me. Don't get me wrong, curbside pickup is good for those who need it, but it's not for me.

Yeah, I just thought it would save me time and I would not have to deal with the people in the store.

@kaylachan Yeah, I usually just shop at a different store and I am usually drive there, shop and drive home in a little less than an hour. It is also a little cheaper by about 10-20 dollars.

It was faster to go into the store, this is not a good service.

@Bensen32 I get mad when things like that happen. It happened here during the lockdown in Spring. I spent one hour online waiting to order my grocery, when finally I could complete my order, they said they could not deliver because they had not enough personnel. I never went again to that store!

@LadyDuck LOL, yeah sounds about right. I think I will just go back to shopping at the store that I was shopping at before trying this.

That is what I am saying, why bother with the pick up service. I'll go back to shopping at the cheaper store.

You'd think you wouldn't get a text until your order was absolutely ready.

Well next time, better go.to.the physical store. I think they had a lot of.orders thats why it took quite a while before they could.deliver it.

I have never done this before but many do and I guess there will always be good and not so good. Glad you complained.
