When I first walk out of my front door, I see my high hedge and wooden gate which separates my property from the road.

Nope wrong, I don't have a fence at all, I have high hedges, about 8 foot in height. My house is semi detached but not a town house.

I suppose that would have to be the neighbors houses across the street from us. It's really cool now because they have their holiday decorations up and it looks so pretty.

I see my neighborhood. The house across the street from me where it seems that they are never home. They have left a pet carrier on their porch for the cat that never gets to come inside and they really shouldn't be owning because the cat never sees them. They have a beautiful tree that has leaves that first changed to a wonder rich red color before they all fell off. I also see my poor bird bath. I say poor bird bath because it is broken. We got an ice storm before the snow a little over a week ago. The ice just filled the bird bath to the point the bowl of the bird bath has broken. So sad...but I do not have much experience with snow...so I had no clue that it would do this to my poor bird bath. :(
