Full Beaver Moon November 30th

Have been watching the moon lately when the clouds allow. It is finally a full moon. Missed it last night due to the rain. I find it interesting to read about the moon. Many times the full moons have names. The one today (November 30th) is called a Beaver Moon. This is due to the beavers building their winter dams this time of year. A little trivia to share. I’ve read about the Beaver moon and saw it last night and saw Doodles of course. Glad I did, because it’s pouring here.

I noticed the full moon last night. This morning I woke to a dusting of snow. I am more than delighted to not have to drive anywhere early or late today.

@CarolDM The temps rose to the 40s so hooray the snow is gone. I must take hubby to the doc in the morning and am going to have fun cause it will be in the 20s again by that time.

because in my country there is no winter so beavers don't make checkers, and maybe my country calls them differently too, interesting you add a link so that I can also read other information about the moon

How neat never heard of a beaver moon. I was driving home last night from geocaching and getting groceries and saw it was a full moon.
