As I was going to bed last night I saw a post from a member of my brother's congregation. (He is a pastor) . It was a prayer request, he has been hospitalized with covid pneumonia.
His wife had asked her (Dana) to spread the word. She (Dana) was shocked to learn that no one had called me.
So I shared the post to Facebook, and called my older sister, who is not online and asked Dana about Renee (my sister-in-law). I guess she is doing okay. She will not let Dana bring her anything though. Dana lives in a high risk household.
This morning my brother has texted me. He says the hospital is doing "all the right stuff" and he is on steroids, which has made him wide awake.
I will keep you posted as I know anything. Thank you for praying, sending good thoughts and caring.

My son-in-law in Minnesota has had covid for a while, but it seems to be fairly mild in his case. My daughter says they are not testing the others unless the get sick. No point as they have all been exposed before Jason ever got tested.

I worry, and want to rush right down there, but it would do no good.

It is good that they are learning more how to treat effectively. The steroids are a good first move.

@GardenGerty For people with milder cases of COVID-19, taking steroids is more dangerous than taking nothing. Of course if someone is really sick, it's worth taking the risk.

Thank you. They are so careful in their home, but Renee was exposed by someone who came to work sick.

Thank you. He is not one to go to the hospital, so it is concerning.

Nice that those that you know have been infected is on the way to recovery already. I also got it a couple of months ago and was hospitalized too. I am now recovering and believed that I have recovered already. It was a tough journey having infected with it but if you have no other health problems there is a possibility that you can overcome it after a couple of weeks.

I hope so too. I had talked to him the other day and he said even when he is well we should not come down because the house is "contaminated".

@much2say They are really good at cleaning and sanitizing all the time. I am sure they will be on top of it, when they finally have some energy.
