A COLD December has arrived!

December 1, 2020, arrived in Fort Lauderdale with a cold, clear, sunny, breezy day--did I mention COLD?!?! It was 57 degrees at 10 AM when I woke up and hit the day's high of 64 degrees at 3 PM. This is Fort Lauderdale--SOUTH Florida--and I won't complain that it is cold but......
In any case, the 2 December calendar dogs make it warmer and I am wearing a long sleeve shirt so things aren't really bad and the sun is shining!

You have 57 I'll come to visit this morning we had 44 and right now it is quite cold but I have a down blanket, That is the only thing that helps the sun shining,

@GreatMartin I keep an AÇ on low in my workroom because otherwise, my laptop has a tendency to overheat with the AC it does just fine and I wear a sweater while working,

But we don't have earthquakes--I'll take the cold over that plus we will be back in the high 70s by Thursday!!

@GreatMartin That is true. But we don't get the hurricanes. In any case, we both know it will eventually get warm for both of us!

When I saw my husband off at around eight-thirty this morning, it was a nice, cold 39 degrees. It warmed up to about 54, with a projected high of 55. Tomorrow it should be considerably warmer, but needless to say, Ihad to brave wearing shorts outside today because I don't have long pants that fit me properly, that have pockets, and won't slip or get caught in my chair. They either are to wide in the waist from me gaining and losing weight and them being old, or they are too long (I have short legs) or, they don't have pockets and are getting holes. I can handle shorts in 50 degree weather, sure, (as long as it's not too windy), but I shouldn't have to think about whether I can or not.

And that's why I live in SOUTH Florida! We will be back in the 70s tomorrow and high 70s Thursday!

@xander6464 Are you kidding??? With the virus tourism is way down so no traffic, no waiting on line for anything, room on the beach--oh okay so the tax income is way down and businesses are closing left and right BUT we have the beach back!!

@GreatMartin nope, Tampa very seldom got cold. Mississippi does, but not as cold as up north.
