Online grocery shopping is no picnic especially when things one wants aren’t in stock. Forget the sanitizing! As fate would have it, our younger son was at Trader Joe’s shopping at the same time. He happened to text to ask if I needed anything. All I needed were green seedless grapes. He showed up earlier with a huge container of grapes, lobster ravioli, and four gigantic bars of Belgium chocolate! He wouldn’t accept money from us. We hung out in our garage wearing masks and had the heater going for a good two hours. We talked about gifts he bought for his girlfriend and hinted at ours. This kid of ours is too sweet. He gets it from his daddy.

Thanks Kharla! He never ceases to amaze us with how caring he is. It’s just a personality trait. He’s always been a good son, brother, and friend.

@DianneN My son would walk ten miles, to bring me two aspirins. That's how Chad is, also. If he knows I'm in need, bingo! He'd do anything to help We are blessed with caring children, who return our love, 1,000,000X1,000,000. It's wonderful!

Thank you. I’m sure you miss your son so much. Do you know when you’ll be able to see him again? Don’t laugh, but my son and his gf are thinking of moving back to her hometown.. Hope it’s just idle gossip.

Ha ha! Your sis is a riot. We’ve been very lucky with the produce selections. Our butcher, whom we’ve known for years, is in charge of our meats. I don’t want to enter a store, especially right now.

@DianneN Sis works for Publix since Publix took over Albertson years ago when she was liquor store manager, but with Publix she is now liquor store specialist as Publix group areas that were management under one of 3 departments, but the specialists till have almost as much to do as they did when they were managers except they are hourly and not salaried employees. And when I go out I always have a mask sprinkle with thieves oil and a bottle to spray my and and surfaces with the thieves oil

@DianneN that sounds interesting I’ve had a few different kinds of ravioli the past month. Aldis has new flavors often I’ve been grabbing to try. The spinach and cheese I’ve liked the most.

@DianneN I do not like online grocery shopping because you cannot see what they have and also like you said they do not always have what you need and have to substitute things. That was nice of what your son did. Who is the dog in the picture?

We’ve been very lucky with the fruits and veggies and don’t accept substitutes for what brands we prefer. I don’t want to go into a market that has hundreds of people passing through it daily. Thanks. Our son is so king, generous, and thoughtful. I will make it up to him with gifts and a huge check for Hanukkah. That’s Cody, one of our grand doggies. He belongs to our older son.

The few times I have done online grocery shopping no problem at all! I don't do it often because the only shopping I enjoy is food shopping--well looking at all the things I want to buy and eat but don't!
