God works in a ways higher than ours.
We may imagine how God would answer our prayer but in the end, He will surprise us with something far greater than we asked for.
Keep on praying. we need to be patient and thankful for his will is better than our will.

I believe that too, though at times, it can be very distressing and disappointing waiting but if we don't give up, things do work out better than expected.
Isaiah 55:8-11 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)
8 The Lord says, “My thoughts are not like yours.
Your ways are not like mine.
9 Just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so my ways are higher than your ways,
and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts.
10 “Rain and snow fall from the sky
and don’t return until they have watered the ground.
Then the ground causes the plants to sprout and grow,
and they produce seeds for the farmer and food for people to eat.
11 In the same way, my words leave my mouth,
and they don’t come back without results.
My words make the things happen that I want to happen.
They succeed in doing what I send them to do.

@Shunnan Yes, he is able to do miracles any time he wants but he doesn't do them when we want. He does them when it is the best time. The difference is that he knows the best time and we don't and if we are not patient we won't be around at that time and miss out. There are several Scriptures that admonish us not to give up and several that admonish us to be patient, endure and wait and if we do that we will not be disappointed.

There are always miracles. God hears your prayers and does answer them.
