...I managed to put up; the main on of my nativities !
This nativity is from Avon circa 1986. It's the first Nativity set that I had in my collection of Nativities (though technically Mom bought it).
I followed the practice of my good friend from high school, and added to this Nativity. The original Avon set had only two angels--that didn't seem right.
Tomorrow I will put up another one from my collection.
I hope that you are getting everything done that you would like to in your part of myLot land !

I like that nativity. It is very sweet and simple. I have part of my Christmas village up. I got a couple more buildings at a yard sale to replace the broken ones. I have a nativity but I like yours better. I had a nativity for a long time but one year the cat decided to kill Joseph and bit off his head. The stable ended up on the floor and someone walked on it and smashed it up. I loved that nativity and I was so sad to lose it.

Aw, I'm sorry that happened. That would make me sad, too.
The thing with this one is that every year I have to glue the top of Joseph's staff back on. After sitting in the attic all year the glue wears out, and off the top of the staff comes.
I took this photo before I noticed that the glue on the staff hadn't quite set yet and the top was starting to fall off--so Joseph is now in a spot in the sun by the window. Hopefully the glue will be set by the time I get home from helping decorate at church.

Can never have too many angels hanging around the house.
