I've been craving satay for days. So when I saw the stall today, I had to stop.
Normally at a satay stall, there are two choices; beef or chicken. It's rare to have other selection like rabbits, deer, goats, etc, etc, etc. Satay will be eaten with peanut sauce and accompany with cucumber and onion. Another rare addition would be rice cubes, which you need to purchase separately. This stall, however, was stingy. No onion!
I bought 20 pieces of chicken satay (no one likes beef satay in this house) and 1 packet of cube rice for Mom. So, that's my dinner for tonight. What's yours?

Oh nasi impit.. We called it lontong here. But it doesn't always cube, sometimes cylinder, We called it lontong daun or diamond shaped, we called it ketupat. In Indonesia you don't buy it separately. They are in one package. But we don't put onion tho.
