Then just a moment ago I read a similar post about girdles, the link will be below.
My question is does anyone still wear slips which is the undergarment we wore over our bread and panties. It was supposed to help people not see it legs through our dresses especially when in the sun. I have a slip in my drawer but it's a half slip not a full one.
So gals do any of you still wear a full slip or a half slip? I've no idea what year I quit wearing the full length ones.
When I opened myLot to respond to comments tonight, a Blair ad popped up that featured a panty girdle. I haven't seen one of those for a long time. When I was...

Some of these items might be at the bottom of a drawer somewhere just in case needed. Most females we know wear pant suits and might not wear a dress even for what some feel is a special occasion.

I quit wearing dresses about ten years ago but have a few new ones that I'm looking forward to wearing again in the future.

I have some of those dresses too or they are dark enough that they aren't needed as much.

I don't get to dress up much as I'd rather be warm so I wear pants mostly. But, if I wear something needing a slip is wear what's in my drawer.

@MarshaMusselman Things go out of fashion but sometimes they come back into fashion. I know that if I get rid of them, I will desperately want one.

I have a full length half slip and maybe a short one to but no full slips.
Odd I have one of your posts open but decided to eat instead. Odd because you best me to it.

@akalinus I would say the full slips haven't been in fashion for over twenty years if not longer although I'm sure some women still wear them. I don't intend to get rid of my two half slips just in case.

I still have a 1/2 slip that I wear, whenever I put on a dress or a skirt. This isn't very often.

Most of mine are wintery. My newest one has a double skirt but if I find I still need one I'll have to dig mine out.

That's okay. You might date or may someone later and find they do.
