I just cooked this satay. I like to think I didn't screw it up. Little bit too salty but I think I can fix it with sweet soy sauce. It's supposed to be for dinner but let see... Anyway what's on your table for lunch/ dinner?

I just eat rice with kerabu made of winged beans and canned sardines. There's also duck but I didn't cook it. It's from Granduncle's house. Wow, satay! Complete with cucumber and onion too No nasi impit?

@Cheyee I buy the premade. Just boil and then let it cool before cutting it.

Duck? Is that cooked? I love duck. But high cholesterol, should not eat it too often. No, teach me how to make nasi impit, because lontong needs hours too cooked.

We had beef wellington tonight. We want to have it Christmas day so we needed to make sure we knew what we were doing.

@Cheyee Other parts of the US. call it a casserole ... basically they are a combination of starch, protein, and a sauce... the one I did was the classic Tuna Hotdish, a local favorite. Pasta noodles, tuna, and cream soup

@Cheyee I think it's only a simple recipe. But I won't do those complicated recipes like those that requires the use of an oven.

I am sure it is very good. But even with sweet soy sauce, I don't know if that will help. Soy sauce is almost all salt.

@Cheyee Hmm. Interesting. So, no sodium at all in it? That seems odd, especially since sodium is a common sweetening enhancer.
