Son bought a bigger monitor.

The monitor, the keyboard, and the laptop

My son is completely dissolved with his online work that he often sleeps an hour before midnight as I wait for 11 o'clock for my medications' schedule time. He often tells me he wants to buy a bigger monitor. About an hour ago, his package arrived and he was so enthusiastic to open his monitor which he bought online. The monitor I am using now is the one he previously uses. I asked him if he plans to sell this monitor but he said he won't so I can use it. So now, I am using it and at last I don't squint anymore since the fonts are readable. My sister asked me how much is the new monitor. I told her it is P9k. She said it is expensive. I told her, my son is paying whatever he needs for his work (not asking from me) and I am also glad he helps in some bills at home- from his online work. How is everyone doing?

@marlina My monitor broke last year and I bought the largest I could fit in the space in front of my desk.

Online work can be stressful for eyes. Glad he got a big monitor to ease off that stress on his eyes. My husband also got a big monitor for his work. It's a wise investment.

It's good when our children can already help us with the daily expenses. My children are already working too and I am happy that aside from the fact that they are no longer asking allowance, they are also helping with the expenses. What kind of online work your son does?

he is a content writer, and he edits stuff. i do not know the work he does online but i can see him so concentrated in doing his tasks, and when he shows me the money, i am quite relieved.

my sister should know that my son is better compensated now than when he was a teacher in the school where we were employed.

Nice gesture from your son to bequeath to you his monitor. That will be good for your mylotting. It's really becomes difficult for the vision when the screen monitor is small. My daughter also connects my laptop to the television monitor, if I need to watch the news and the videos clearly. It's like that with family, we don't mind the expenses so long as what we spend for is for the betterment of each other.

@ridingbet Oh, I see. Do enjoy the netflixing and the PS4, then. We never did use PS at home. It was one thing my daughters would have to give up because they barely had time to play. I did give away 4 units my brother sent me, so others could enjoy those. My brother didn't get angry, he also wanted other kids to have fun.

Your son is so caring and thoughtful. I have a very large monitor, but it is large enough to use at my desk without being too large.
