A couple of days ago I got word that my cousin was being discharged. The one who has COVID and has been in ICU since November 22nd.
Today I got another call saying she was never discharged. Her oxygen levels will not stay normal. She is back up to 80% oxygen again. And she has asthma. She remains in ICU.
They were getting the discharge papers ready and she had a big change in her breathing again. I am hoping for the best.
We just never know what life will bring for us to deal with. I hope she can improve soon. Her sister was discharged to a nursing home last week.

I am so sorry to hear that, will be praying. Might have been a good thing it happened like that, at least she has a bed. My husband was in the emergency room for 3 days, because they didn't have beds. The poor doctors and nurses look like they are so tired. I know they are.

Oh no, roomie went to see his doctor today...as he seems to be having some issues breathing. He said it is fluid built up in his lungs and is something he goes through periodically...he said if the doctor wanted to put him in the hospital he was going to go tomorrow..as he is usually treated and released and he doesn't want to drive at night. He hasn't returned yet...if he doesn't get here in the next hour. I am going to think they sent him anyway.

I wish that all the people that think COVID-19 is nothing to worry about would read your post. Hoping and praying that your cousin and her sister feel better soon with no lasting effects.
