A Good Book is the Best of Friends

This bookmark is one that I made for my oldest granddaughter. She is a senior in high school and dearly loves to read. She also loves to watch and take pictures off Hummingbirds whenever he is down here visiting. She is fascinated by them. I know she will love this little bookmark. I always try to give my family gifts that will mean something to them personally. Believe it or not I am already thinking about what to start on for next year. Today is cool, in the 40's and sun is shining down upon us. It is a nice day to watch the squirrels gather food for the colder weather. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

@HazySue Okay. Never heard of that. My mother used to sew the felt on the backs of my bookmarks.

I do. This picture was taken before i added self-stick pink felt. I use a stiff felt to help it hold it's shape.

@xstitcher I used to sew the felt on too. Just in the last year I began to use self-stick felt on some projects.
