Splat! I dropped my cake!

The chocolate cake that has been sitting in the fridge for a week now and only I have eaten it, was dropped onto the floor. The culprit was none other than the one writing this discussion.
I was able to save part of it. Half of it.
The chocolate icing was all scattered on the floor. Good thing the dog just sat calmly, watching me wipe the floor with a sponge.
I told my husband I wanted a cheese cake because am not a fond of chocolate cake but he still bought the latter.
What a good start of the day

You still got to eat the half so it isn't a total waste.

I'm glad to hear the dog just watched and wasn't interested in helping you clean up the cake. Glad you didn't end up having to toss it all out, either. I love chocolate so hate when bad stuff like that happens to good food.

@Janet357 I can't blame you. If nothing else, the pandemic has made us think more about how we shop and spend money.
