We are going back, as lockdown goes.

Where I live, Covid has us taking a step forward and 2 backwards. Now we are going backwards again as the cases are more with the nearing of Christmas and people getting money out of nowhere to buy presents in places full of people. As from today, part of our liberties are taken away again. Still, many people don´t wear masks and don´t wash their hands. This, in a big city, is very dangerous. Here there are over 7 million people and many are poor and live in small and bad houses. I am going to be out as little as I can. And Humberto convinced me yesterday that as soon as the vaccine is available, we must go and get it.

The release of a vaccine is part of the problem too I think. They are willing to take more chances hoping they can soon get that and be lucky until then.

In my country the vaccine will be used first for the elder and for the ill people. The young stupid people who are partying and getting drunk are not in the front row.

That would be very wise to get the vaccines when they become available there and to limit your shopping when you can.

@marguicha I have my daughter money to buy gifts for her kids since I didn't know whether I'd be shopping this season or not. For the adults were getting gift cards for groceries.

Everyone is waiting for the vaccine everywhere. I just saw the news that UK has started vaccinations already and there were side effects that the first vaccinated people got. But they say that it is part of being vaccinated that they will have this side effects which will be mild.

@marguicha The first thing I saw was there seems to be some kind of allergic reaction and slight fever which is normal for any vaccine. Other than that I am not seeing any serious reactions from those that got vaccinated already.

We also have more restrictions, because people are stupid and they are crowding the stores because Christmas is coming.

My daughter was just wondering where did people get so much money when there are social problems because of the lack of it.

@marguicha People make debts. I know from several friends who work in the banks, people go into debit during summer vacation time and Christmas holidays. It is insane!

The second surge is doubly lethal. There had been more than a hundred new strains of the virus, if I recall right. The health officials are begging for every one's cooperation. The hospitals and morgues are full to capacity. The ill actions of the stubborn people are making this pandemia linger longer. We had cautionary tales of plagues and the hard-headed creature, turds of morons, chose not to believe. Sigh.

This problem arises when festivities come near. The same problem in this part of the world. We had series of festivals here in last three months and the situation which was improving worsened. People in general do not care irrespective of their status.

People just won't learn to wear their masks and practice social distancing. I will get the vaccine too when it's available.

@marguicha It is very sad that so many do not wear masks here either and we are supposed to get the vaccine soon but with restrictions. I am wondering what the restrictions will be and if the vaccine will help and what else we have to do to get rid of this virus.
