Kitty and her boyfriend had a major domestic dispute right in front of my window last night. They were screaming at each other.
I awoke to hear the two tearing down the front stairs. I think she was chasing him. When they got to the bottom, the just faced each other and growled.
I put my glasses on to make sure no raccoons were involved. When I saw none around, I went back to bed.
Later I had a bad dream that Kitty got her cornea scratched. Bit was just a dream. She looks fine, and was sleeping by my door as usual when I poked my head out after waking.
Do your kitties get into loud arguments? What do they argue about?

@RebeccasFarm Kittty does that here as well. She's gotten more "cocky" in her climbing since I've known her.

When I’ve had more than one they didn’t fight. Maybe playfully.

It happens that the orange tabby of my next-house neighbors and the tuxedo left behind by another neighbor argue. The reason is because "territorial protection" and jealousy. I am very careful and be sure to pet both them when they come close, but sometimes they fight because they want to be my "only owner".

@Tampa_girl7 They are extremely jealous, they hiss, they growl but that's all, they run away after a lot of noise.

Mine get into arguments all the time but I don't know why. Is there a Dr. Dolittle in the house?

@TheHorse It seems like you're turning into a cat person.

Did you see her rolling around after? If she did it might not have been a fight.

Once I was sure it was just two "equal" cats (like two equal kids), with no dangerous raccoons involved, I just went to bed and assumed both would survive. They did. Scar was here this morning asking for breakfast. Kitty (Nala) did not care.

She seems OK. I check her butt in the morning for "eau de non-fixed kitty." But she may have groomed it off by the time we interact. If her boyfriend is a genuine non-fixed Tom, I may have to put extra shells in the shotgun. --Redneck Daddy Horse

I have one cat and she gets mad at me and when she does she bites me and then thinks I will forgive her and she can come on my lap again. I tell her she was bad and she cannot come near me the rest of the day. They must have had a real over's quarrel. I wonder if they are ok now.

We don't have cats; but maybe Kitty needs a restraining order. :-)

We have one stray cat who frequently stays in our compound. Two or three other stray cats just stay on our roofs. When they come down they have raucous often times brutal fights with the stray cat that stays in our compound. Two deep fang scars are seen on the neck of the stray cat in our compound. The cause of their fights is mostly territorial involving female cats.

@TheHorse All you can do as a loving kitty Dad is to give her your full support just in case her boyfriend's assault on her innocence will bear fruit .

There was some loud discussions in the summer between some free rangers about who could poop in my yard, but there hasn't been any lately, so I guess it's been settled.

I had a couple that were always disputing territory. Fotunately, it was all vocal no scratching involved.
