My outdoor cat is at the vet now

I have a cat outside. She is 7 years old. She is so thin. She weighs only 2.3 kilos. I don't have money for her, but I want to save her life if it's possible. Some people want to donate money. She is semi-feral. These animals have the right to live and they also need a vet. The cat is active, but she is eating less and less each day. I am scared to take her in my arms. She is only skin and bones. I don't have a good feeling. I think it's something serious and maybe she will die soon. Tomorrow the vet will call me. She was spayed in January. And her health declined since then. Maybe it was a mistake to spay her. Or maybe it is a coincidence.

I am afraid that it's serious. She is too thin.

Spayig a cat is never wrong. Outdoor cats tend to have shorter lives over all. Maybe she's lonely? Or possibly depressed.

Her mother lived for more than 11 years. She was also an outdoor cat. This is a smart cat. She doesn't stay outside in the cold. She finds shelter. She always liked to be alone. I think something is medically wrong. She seems to have pain when she is eating. She even runs when she sees food. Her behavior is weird. She eats and after that she screams in pain.

@dya80dya The fact that she's sven and has lived outdoors says a lot. Some cats do well and have nice long lives, while others don't. She could've developed a mouth infection or worse, cancer. I hope it's not the later. Let's pray your vet calls with good news.

I would certainly ask the vet that question. I hope you and the vet can figure it out so you can make an informed decision. I'll send healthy kitty thoughts your way.

She is nice. I hope that she will not die so soon.
