Dreams are.. Weird

Mine are anyway, but who here doesn't already know that?
Anyway, it revolved around me wanting to order something to eat from one of those second party delivery services (uber eats, postmates etc etc). I was not sure whether I really wanted to because I wouldn't know the person, but I went ahead and did it.
The person walked up and it wasn't food that they were delivering.. At least it was and it wasn't. It was food one moment and then yarn the next.
The person ended up being someone that I knew from high school and we were talking, then I realized it wasn't that person but still a relative of that person. Then, because it was a dream, it ended up being that person again. Anyway, we got to talking about yarn and she showed me some of her creations. A bouquet made out of yarn with small gift boxes in the center.
Her car was weird. It was a car but it could be turned into a bike. It looked like a truck at first though. Oh and she was flying in the car / bike thing She wanted to use the bathroom but I was like "nah."
There's a lot more to the dream but let me get to the part where I was chasing her on my feet trying to get her to stop so I could talk to her again.. I had offended her somehow (probably the "no you can't go to the bathroom" thing) and she was leaving. She ended up being flagged down by a neighbor on the next street and they were talking. The neighbor had a van and in that van were lots of plastic flowers and yarn.
W E I R D!

I was concerned about the virus and didn't want her in the house. Except, it was my grandmother who was really concerned. I was just following along with what she wanted.

@LadyDuck Really, very much so. I have had several with people in masks or me being afraid for one reason or another.

I have weird dreams like that all the time where things change in the blink of an eye, or keep bouncing back and forth from one thing to another, or one setting to another.

I have a lot of dreams revolving around roads and usually the settings change. Like one minute the road will be in Japan, but the next I'll be back in the US but on the same road.

@moffittjc Right! No passport needed but then I wake up wishing I had whatever I bought while in my dream.
I'm good, it was a nice Christmas. Got to see my aunt and uncle and didn't think I would. How was yours?

Yes at times, dreams can be weird.
Hopelessness, despair, worries and dreams - all mix up and at times give us weird dreams.
There are dream interpretation sites and even individuals but one need not go too deeply into that !

And too much analysis and interpretation can be more stressful !

Yeah so it is better to have the dream but not think much about it.

I agree with you. I used to be an active member of the forum on Dreammoods.com and I loved interpreting dreams, but honestly we should look to ourselves for the interpretations.

I think the yarn made it a not so unpleasant dream.

Here is what is weird. For years I would always dream about food and never get a chance a to eat any of it. A few nights ago I dreamed of being served a meatball sub sandwich and I actually got a chance to eat it!! You can eat food in your dreams!

Oh, that's great! Nothing I hate more than dreaming about something really tasty and then not getting to eat it in my dreams!

@cmoneyspinner Oh no! That's no fun. I feel like we should be able to taste what we eat in our dreams because we can feel things like falling or flying or whatever else in our dreams!

@popciclecold Well thank you.
That's sometimes a bad thing because it means my nightmares are usually truly nightmarish.

Most of my dreams have some fun in them and then some really strange, almost scary elements too.

@DaddyEvil You've never had a dream that someone is staring at you? I've had those and I think they are even worse than the ones where you are being chased.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I don't usually remember my dreams. The few I do remember are of me being chased or chasing someone/thing. Sometimes the one chasing and the one being chased switches around. It can get scary when I'm the one being chased.

lol I have had a few nightmares lately. One was about a ceiling fan coming to life (I have been watching the show Next which is about AI), another one about my grandmother and my mother were con artists. But last night's dream I was a super human named Snow White. Some people took out my heart and put a stake through it and then put it back in me to make me super human. Chris (my boyfriend) was also super human, but I don't know what his name was as a super human. He was shot many times to become super human.

Oh wow that's crazy about the super human thing. I read "con" as "corn" for a second.

Some of my dreams are driving a car on the streets of Metairie Louisiana which is a suburb of New Orleans or working at a pizza parlor.

I'm always interested by dreams revolving around either driving or riding in a car. It seems like a lot of mine are filled with those scenes.

Sometimes dreams can be very confusing. I recently dreamed something I could not really remember but when I woke up I thought I was still talking to one person. Who knows they might of been there in sprit.

I think you are right. I don't think there is a day where I'm not looking at, reading about or watching things about yarn. No wonder I dream about it too!
