How's the winter going to be this time around?

Hello everybody. I am sure members from across the globe are here at Mylot and reading this. Care to share what you feel about winters and what is your expectation about the winter this season? As I live in the tropical region, winters for me is not that chilly and I still remember that as a child I always use to long for winters to be very severe. I use to watch in awe on television when I used to see snowfall and used to wish if there would be snowfall in the area where I live. Having said that, I am pleased to tell you that I made my childhood dream come true by visiting a place where there was actual snowfall - missed the falling snow but there was snow all around for sure. It was such an "aha" moment for me. There is a completely different feeling about the winter season for me and I would not hesitate to tell you all - it is my favourite season. Would like to hear from all of you about my favourite season and how do you feel it will pan other this time. A sure festive time for many. Thanks!
