Father/daughter hunting trip 2020 / myLot

My daughter and I went hunting at Tosohatchee Wildlife Management Area last week. It is the first time we have gone together in over ten years. I miss those days we had before she got married and started a family of her own.

Whitetail deer mostly. Pigs are legal, but my family doesn't eat them so we only take pictures.

@Nakitakona We were using muzzleloaders on that trip. She is holding a Hawkens 54-cal. I am an archer at heart, but bow and arrow were not legal.

Aw, this is great that you have this bond with your daughter. Welcome to myLot too.

Also, I remember having such great times with my Dad RIP. He always took me fishing for many years. I was the oldest and I got some precious hours with my Dad where the other kids did not.

I am really lucky that we are close. The funny thing about her, she would rather walk knee deep through a swamp than go fishing.

Florida has a lot of public land, long seasons and the out-of-state license is cheap compared to what western states charge. Plus, you can go to the beach or Disney when you are done with the morning hunt.
