@xander6464 Dang it, I am NOT a cat person! I am master of my own domain! Wait. I have to make sure there's water in kitty's bowl...Anyway, as I was saying...

Just an observation , music and poetry , poetry and guitar . They go together , partners . And I have seen artists that like both poetry and music. Just like how a guitar is always associated with poetry .

@TheHorse Thanks for the excellent and honest introduction.
@iKONICNoona I think it is hard to be a poet without being a musician, and vice versa. Poets come up with rhythmic representation of prose. Pony here is a great musician. His original music is superb. The latest piece that he uploaded for some is something to go on America's Got Talent for, that good. We have to prepare a video on that though. Most of the time he does cover of others music. Of his original poems.. you might like this one...it is sad, but somewhere it resonates with everybody.

I'm going to link you to one of my songs. Note that Vanny (@Vandana7 here on MyLot, my friend AND nemesis) chose a musician to represent "the poets." The guy pictured late in the song (the fiddle player) is a friend of mine who is actually a great ARTIST, based in Santa Barbara CA.

That is short and sweet.
Let me try:
"
Inch by Inch, word by word.
My Saturday Mylot Sojourn Grows
As does the fun and excitement.

@TheSojourner — you’re not having much luck drinking while reading my stuff, are you?

@TheSojourner Funny. I pronounce it with only three syllables. I'd have to see how it translates into "romance languages" like French, Italian and Spanish. If it's the "same word," then I would pronounce it with four syllables.

That's a great haiku! I somehow missed the part of literature class that taught haiku. I recently learned how to compose them. I enjoy it!

@BarBaraPrz At the boss' house. None of us buy into any of this pandemic garbage anyway personally.

Lovely haiku. Now add some more verses and set it to music it could make a very soothing lullaby. I hope you have a good night and a great Sunday,
