Those who like mystery and crime stories, should remember the Zodiac Killer.
The man terrorized Northern California in the late 60 and 70.
In the 1969 he sent a coded messages to the San Francisco Chronicle, that until now, no one had been able to decipher.
After 51 years, three code breakers, finally arrived to crack the mysterious messages.
This is the coded messages, the killer wrote.
“I hope you are having lots of fun in trying to catch me. I am not afraid of the gas chamber because it will send me to paradise all the sooner because I now have enough slaves to work for me.”
If you want to know more you can have a look at this article.
The killer has never been identified nor caught.
Do you believe this will help to identify him now?

I think I'll have to write a post to respond to this when I have time. I once thought I knew who it was, and even went to the police with a handwriting sample -- a note from an acquaintance I met a UCLA. It was scary because I'd gone to visit that person, who did happen to live in the Bay Area, but he wasn't home that day. I was on the way to visit a friend in Berkeley. At that time the Zodiac was not yet active. But a few weeks later he started killing and leaving notes.

@crazyhorseladycx I also doubt they will ever know for sure. I often wonder why those horrible people exist.

Why would it matter now. Unless we believe bad genes run in a family. Come to think of it, bad genes do, and so does bad behavior or thinking. Yet, every once in a while, we might get prejudiced about entire family and then some innocents will find it tough to survive after being labeled bad, and turn bad in a prophecy type of way. I am not sure I would be interested in cases that are so cold in which no one is convicted.

How did he choose his victims. I am always thinking as much as I walk the streets for fun, why I never get shot stabbed or kidnapped in this crazy world. Mostly at night too because only time I find peace. No way a female could do what I do, not sexist just true.

@LadyDuck I actually did get picked up by this kind of crazy native American dude, I was, hammered one night, coming home from bar and he stopped and asked how to get to freeway made it all confusing. I go let me just show you how to get to freeway and he is like cool. , seemed like a nice dude and lucky was, took me to Indian reservation in highland and all in hills and they had nicer houses than me but we ended up in Forrest Falls Mountain area and just drank more then he dropped me back at the bar next day and saw my one female friend and she is like, damn, just glad you OK. It was pretty stupid to be so trusting this day in age.

@LadyDuck The guy must secretly rejoice somewhere in not being caught ! Don't know if he has been tormented by feelings of guilt !

@changjiangzhibin89 I fear that those psychopaths do not have sentiments, I think he only regretted to stop being famous.

With the advancements in technology these days, the law enforcement officials will solve this case and if the criminal is still alive. I am sure this case will be on the Investigation Discovery shows or an Cable News Network Headline shows.

@LadyDuck The case will not likely be solved since the powers that be do not seem to care to solve it.
