Some Sad News

I feel so badly for my brother-in-law. He had been trying to get a hold of his dad in Kansas (my BIL lives in Oklahoma) all week to no avail (his dad lives alone). Long story short, the sheriff found him dead on his bed. From all appearances it looks like he was getting ready to take a shower, and probably had a heart attack. They think he'd been dead about five days, but won't know anything for sure until they do an autopsy, which of course has to be done when someone dies alone. My BIL headed to Kansas yesterday, and my sister will come with the kids when they settle on a funeral date. I've wondered if I died who would find me. Those of you who know me would assume it would be my dad, but that could take weeks. If he doesn't hear from me he assumes it's because I'm busy. It's morbid to think about, but I just want to know my dogs wouldn't starve to death. I wish I could do something for my BIL. He's a good man.
