This morning I announced the start of a new countdown: songs with "diamonds" in the title.
So many people mentioned Neil Diamond that I thought, hey, why not! I've never done a Neil Diamond countdown before. A terrible oversight on my part, given how long I've been a fan of this guy. Heck, my mom even loved "Song Sung Blue" when it was a single in 1972!!
So, along with the diamond titles, I'll give you ten favorite gems by a gem of a singer-songwriter, Mr. Neil Diamond!
No, this did NOT make the top ten...and NO, I'm not sick of it. But then, I don't watch many Boston Red Sox games!

I also loved to listen to Neil Diamond songs. Thank you for sharing that with us. I saw his older picture and decided to listen to a little bit of that one and he still had it by singing this song.
